BENGUET CORPORATION AND LOWER DOWNSTREAM COMMUNITIES INK AN AGREEMENT

On May 5, 2021, Benguet Corporation and Lower Downstream Communities’ representatives signed a Compromise Agreement that will allow Benguet Corporation to finally proceed with its TSF embankment raising by 2 meters. The said agreement was reached after a series of dialogues was conducted among and between the concerned parties.
